Is human DNA present in the M/EDICAL PROOF products containing Stem Cell Culture Supernatants?

Although stem cells from natural human sources are used in the production process, they are not present in the fluid portion of the cell cultures that remain after the cells have been removed. Instead, only naturally secreted proteins, cytokines, and growth factors remain, and all cells and cellular debris are removed through filtration procedures. This ensures that the products are free of DNA and human stem cells.

Why does M/EDICAL PROOF use human derived stem cell cultures?

Human stem cells are considered ideal for producing Stem Cell Culture Supernatants and for use in skincare products for several reasons:

Rich Source of Bioactive Molecules: Human stem cells secrete a wide array of proteins, cytokines, and growth factors that are crucial for cell communication, repair, and regeneration. These bioactive molecules can enhance skin health by promoting cellular turnover, collagen production, and wound healing.

Compatibility with Human Skin: Molecules derived from human stem cells are more compatible with human skin compared to those derived from other sources. This compatibility reduces the risk of adverse reactions and increases the efficacy of the products.

Regenerative Properties: Human stem cells have potent regenerative capabilities. The supernatants from these cells can stimulate the skin's natural repair processes, improving texture, elasticity, and overall appearance.

Anti-Aging Benefits: The growth factors and cytokines secreted by human stem cells can help reduce signs of aging. They can minimize the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and age spots by promoting collagen and elastin production, which are essential for maintaining youthful skin.

Safety and Efficacy: Human stem cell-derived products are generally considered safe when properly processed and purified. They are free from cellular debris and DNA, reducing the risk of contamination and ensuring that the active ingredients are effective.

By leveraging the unique properties of human stem cells, skincare products can offer more targeted and effective solutions for maintaining and enhancing skin health.

How are the stem cell cultures ethically sourced and derived?

The healthy human mesenchymal stem cells are obtained from adipose tissue (fat) of volunteer donors aged 20 to 29, who have undergone stringent screening according to donor eligibility procedures at affiliated clinics. The stem cell culture supernatant is a by-product obtained from stem cells cultured for allogeneic stem cell therapy, and it is used in M/EDICAL PROOF's product range.

Do any of M/EDICAL PROOF’s products contain harsh chemicals such as sulfates, parabens, phthalates, etc.?

All M/EDICAL PROOF products are formulated without sulfates, parabens, petroleum, propylene glycol, sulfates, nanoparticles, phthalates, synthetic dyes, artificial colors, talc, gluten, animal-derived ingredients (including animal-derived placenta), formaldehyde, formaldehyde donors, methylisothiazolinone (MIT), artificial fragrances, and diethanolamine (DEA).

Why are the products so expensive?

The stem cell culture supernatant used in M/EDICAL PROOF’s products retain the "activity" of their growth factors, thanks to the proprietary Deep In Act technology. Most other cosmetics that include stem cells have "inactivated" growth factors because over 90% of the growth factor activity in stem cell culture supernatants are lost within 72 hours unless stored below -80°C or freeze-dried. In contrast, the growth factors in M/EDICAL PROOF products retain their activity for up to 10 years (as proven by accelerated testing) as the result of the time-intensive process of transforming the stem cell culture supernatant into Deep In Act form (powder, oil-coated) at temperatures below 36.5°C to prevent heat denaturation. This time-intensive process limits production quantities, contributing to the higher cost.

What is the shelf life of M/EDICAL PROOF Products?

All M/EDICAL PROOF products have a minimum shelf life of five years.

In what order should I apply the M/EDICAL PROOF products and integrate them with my regular skincare routine?

There are two basic rules when applying skincare products. First, thoroughly cleanse your face before applying any products. Second, apply products in the order of their thickness, starting with the thinnest. This means applying mists before serums and serums before moisturizers, to optimize product absorption.
